At the heart of most AV distribution system is a matrix switch, this is a box which takes multiple HDMI input cables from your Sky or Virgin Boxes and any other media sources converts them to a digital signal. The signal then transmits without loss of quality via the data cables (HDBaseT or Cat 6) to a small receiver installed behind your screens. The receiver then converts the digital signal back to HDMI for HD and UHD 4K viewing, all our distribution systems support standard audio formats as well as Dolby Digital.
